Plenty of times.
I used to cold approach ALL THE TIME and my go to line was "I had to step to ya cuz I thought you was kinda cute".
Didn't want to lay it on too thick with "beautiful " or "sexy as hell" so "cute" did the job more often than not.

Cute invokes adoration and bytches love that shyt.
Getting called cute by a woman is no Bueno though. Men want to be called fine or sexy. My theory is that men want to be in a dominant position and it's hard to be that when you're "cute" like a rabbit or like a small animal. Women on the other hand like the submissive position to a man. So being called cute by a man feels good to them.
