I came close after the 2016 election, and a white woman said she couldn’t understand how any woman could vote for Trump, and I pointed out that only white women overwhelmingly voted for him. For the rest of the day, and for a couple weeks, every time I spoke, she would speak loudly, and start a conversation with someone I was speaking to. It was that white woman passive aggression. But she left soon after. I learned then not to discuss politics at work.
Contracting with this one office.
Dude, another contractor, came into my work space and started in some Fox News BS.
I stood up. I'm bout the size of Ziggy Marley. But the white folks knew what was up IMMEDIATELY.
They never hired me again.
Saw ol boy a year later on a different job, he was still shook.
