In Detroit, the only time you hear Em in the club is when they occasionally play that Lean Back remix. DJs would spin Mase and Em verses (most of the time just Mase) and change the song

I used to work at Matrix in 09.. shyt sucked. I used to have to sit In that bullshyt ass room that you first walked in to that played nothing but Salsa music and had old 1940's porn videos on the screen.
I've heard "Welcome to Detroit City" played while out a few times.....
...also, if we're inclgudin Eminem features, I've definitely heard "Forgot About Dre" while out.

Whim is closing now? Wow...seems like Station Square ain't as poppin as it used to be..I remeber me and my friends just stopped going out to those clubs there and kept it at the South Side (I used to live there for a bit). Back in the day it was like the perfect spot especially when IC Light Amphitheatre was open and had shows. Go to one of the bars there to pregame before a show, check out a show there...hit up the South Side for the bar game...Diesel pretty much took away all of the action from everywhere else from what I could tell...and that used t be Nick's Fat City way back when.
Matrix wasn't that great honestly in retrospect...it was fun, but everybody hit the top 40 room and the trance room stayed empty.
I miss Pittsburgh sometimes.

Nope, and on some level that's y he's not in the GOAT conversation....he never made records that shut the club down. And I don't mean some "danceable" record....ill use Hov as the prime example....he's got records like "PSA" and "u don't know" that are just HARD and can be dropped at any time in a club n the crowd will react....eminem doesn't know how to make records that the streets respond to unfortunately ...still in my top 10 tho regardless off talent alone
