I remember seeing a Chiefs player at Best Buy one time and I pointed him out to my father, and this old nikka acting all in this dude face. Me and the Chiefs breh looked at each other with the face. My father didn't even know who dude was.

I've met plenty of celebrities. The most at one time was working for the Hammond Company during All Star Weekend 04 in Los Angeles. I worked as an assistant for Mike Epps during the Jordan Brand comedy show and the next night at the All star party. Saw every NBA star and black celebrity popping in 04. From Shaq to Snoop... literally broke protocol for just one celeb.. Maseo from De La Soul. I couldn't let the night go without telling him how much I loved De La and that was it.

And the only time I turned into a geek was seeing Thelma in downtown Raleigh selling Good Times tshirts and photo opps. I don't give a fukk how big of star they supposed to be, I turned into a fanboy for Thelma

I've seen and met some celebs, but as far as being geeked, I ran into Messandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) from Game or Thrones at Sundance and we literally bumped into each other. She said sorreh in her cute ass accent, stopped and stared at me. No security no nothing. I'm ngl I was at a loss for words. I just looked into her deep beautiful eyes, smiled a little and eventually my feet kept it pushing.

Working in the entertainment industry and politics, I’ve met many. Shiiiit, I’m even friends with a few (won’t say who though).

One of my favourites though was chilling with Camp Lo in the VIP after a show. These nikkas had some PAWGs with em but the light skinned dude kept talking bout his relationship problems and needing a woman that can appreciate his sensitivity…shyt was wild awkward haha. They still left with them PAWGs though. GZA did the same a week later.

Meeting Andre Rison was cool haha. He pulled up to the club in an Escalade and I was like “oh shyt you’re Andre Bad Moon Rison” and he laughed. We chopped it up for a bit and he gave me a $50 tip for telling him where he could park.

Jordin Sparks (remember her?) was probably the nicest celeb I’ve ever met. Super down to earth.

Met Tracy McGrady before he was a superstar. He was really shy. All I could remember thinking is how tall this motherfukker was haha.

Shared a green room with Jermaine Dupree of So So Def a few years back. He wasn’t trying to talk to no nikkas, word to Chamillionaire.

Saw Adam Sandler on the street a couple weeks ago.

Ran into Aaron Brooks in the airport a couple years back. We had a couple drinks and watched a college football game—Oregon vs…I forget who. He was a really chill dude. He was flying from Houston to LA I think for surgery on a recently torn Achilles.

A bunch of others but won’t go into them all. Living and working in downtown Toronto you see celebrities all the time. Especially during the summer.
