Another fella I work with knew Kevin "gerbil" Carroll. (Guy who got shot in an Asda car park a few years ago over some gang fued) Not a friend or anything but saw him from time to time.

A few. I know one older cat in particular that has killed multiple people...like he would flip and murder someone for the slightest disrespect on some O-Dog shyt. He was on heroin though.

I heard a story about how he was actually plotting on killing a cop that roughed him up the same night. Like he sped home to get the heat and spent all night riding around looking for the cop.

I'm sure he's probably dead or in jail now. But I liked the guy because he always looked out for me and protected me for some reason. I have no idea why lol. When I was in 9th grade and cats on the school bus would riff over bullshyt like me sitting in "their" seat, he would check them and make them fall back. He used to always be like, "Cuz if anybody fukk with you lemme know cause I'll bust them in they shyt."

That's been my experience as well(not in the hood though).

On the street some people are known as "capable" but obviously no one knows the details. They don't have scorecards like baseball players. 99% of people who have reps as killers are either lying or greatly exaggerated. Anyone can shoot a gun from a moving car(with 2 other people shooting) in someone's general direction. Not many that can calmly walk up to someone and snuff them away.

Even the "sicarios" down in Mexico that do all those atrocities, 99% percent of them do it because they've fukked up on whiskey and heroin and are terrified of their bosses. True psychopaths are rare even in the criminal world.

It's kind of like D'Angelo in The Wire. The truth is that someone started beating the shyt out of him and he panicked and shot him. But he made himself out to be some cold hitman type to Bodie and the rest of his crew.

he just had that look of someone who easily could take someone's life with his bare hands.

i went to the area where the prisoner's work.
i'm in furniture area and there he is staring at me.
i went to the mechanics area and there he was again
i was so relieved and happy when i left that place.
