I was driving through the rural mountains of Vermont yesterday on my way to this Twiztid concert in Albany NY area tonight and I drove past a hippie looking hitchhiker with a guitar case.

I had about 10 seconds to make my mind up and at the last second I realized "you know who else was a hippie and had a guitar? Charlie Manson." and I kept it moving. I hope he got to his destination safely.


anyone got any hitch hiker stories??

Two stories:

I was driving from CA to Missouri after one of my breaks in college...I saw a single woman on the side of the road in the middle of Oklahoma

In my 19 year old head I thought "shyt this is either gonna turn into a horror movie or a porno :jbhmm:...but either way I'm down :krs:"

I pulled over and she looked at me like :usure: (I'm assuming because I was young and black and my hat was real low :yeshrug:)

she said "I just need to get to the next town or else I'll be stranded out here" and she starts to walk to the back seat

I made her get in the front so I could make sure she didn't pull a knife or something without me seeing it

It ended up being an alright ride :ehh:. She was telling me how she lost her job and how her man was stealing from her :mjlol: and she was trying to get to her cousin's house or something when her car crapped out on her.

When I was pulling off the ramp to go into Bumfyck, OK I said "you have cash right :patrice:" in a concerned voice and she said "yea" and I said "ok cool...gimme 5 for gas money" :pachaha:


Second time I was a little older and didn't pick the breh up.

I was dropping a homie off at the bus station and a homeless man walks up to me and asks me for a ride to a hospital

I hit him with the instant

breh hit me with a mix of emotions :dahell: :mjcry: :sadcam: :stopitslime: and I'm serious that as I rolled off laughing at him I look in my rear view and this homeless smelly ass bum was fyckin mooning me :dead:

Picked up Hitchikers. Been picked up as a Hitchhiker in a few scenarios where I found myself needing to be back quicker than I thought I would be. I'm always armed with a

so if push comes to pull, I can defend myself if just physical strength or numbers ain't in my favor. I tend to stay away from teenagers and young adults, 'cause they almost always got some missing persons bullshyt and with things the way they are now, prolly murder and robbery.

Older folk are the way to go, especially if you got a knife on you despite never underestimating folk, so I'd normally pick them up. Usually old hippies from back in them freight train hopping days or newer ones wanting to relive that shyt or just bumming rides across the continent. Attractive females rarely and I make the effort of tellin' 'em that I'd break their necks if they on any bandulu shyt.:ufdup:

Only hitchhiking story I got that's anywhere near entertaining was the time I was trying to get back from the BlackDiamondSkye tour at the Mohegan Sun with a friend of a friend that got us thrown in jail until cooler heads and my friend I was staying at came to correct things for us.:skip:
