You should always try to leave a job with a two-week notice, I know some circumstances might call for an immediate exit though.

I never quit a job without one lined up though, I like my money coming in on schedule, even if I have savings.
I wonder how much these cats got in savings. I wouldn’t quit unless I had 100k in Savings. And even then if I had 100k in savings I’d throw that back into the market right now

Yes sir, Target when my wife was 9 months pregnant (she was my girlfriend at the time). Wife's father flipped and begged her to move back home. I promised my wife I would land on my feet but I couldn't work at Target overnight. It was mindless soul-sucking work that made me extremely depressed.

Ended up with a good ass job (legal), that I'm still working for 18 years later. Thankfully wifey didn't bounce on me, because quitting a job when you're girl is 9 months pregnant is phukin retarted BUT I gambled on myself (as did my wife) and I won because I love what I do now.
what was so bad about the work itself, thought it's just stocking shyt

Not everyone can do that, folks who get it out the mud and go pay check to paycheck they cant afford to stop working abruptly without anything lined up next as far as jobs
This is why I'm happy I took my 401k seriously when I hit my mid 20s. Hardships and etc it comes in clutch to be able to take a loan out on your own money when you need. But 401k loans don't apply when you quit unless you withdraw but just speaking general

Started a job in January and worked 14 hours my first day. You didn't know what time u got off. Would work 55-60 hours a week and overtime didn't kick in till after 52 hours . LTL industry is one of the only few industries that need a union
Estes express lines? Your post just triggered some memories :sadcam:

Yeah I did...

I also learned the hard way that u need to plan ahead.

Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Presentation.

Have some money saved up each week for days like this. These supervisors be acting funny though.

You'll be good though. Every job is hiring now due to the pandemic.

Boss power tripped and essentially lost control today and was just bad mouthing me, had a shyt review and NO RAISE (I'm IT Help Desk) I kind of just want to say fukk it and leave tomorrow
I had the urge more than ever one time with this job with some shyt I can't get into the details on... but basically, this top level person from HQ came to our location and pretty much informed me that they stole my idea, paid some third party sources to complete it, and it was coming out in 2 weeks....

This is one of the things that Boyce Watkins is right on: "fukk You" money. You need that and if you don't have it, then you might need to bite the bullet for now.
