the moon is always there. The sky is too bright to see it.

Ok, but how can we see it here right above us during the day, and yet somehow it's lit up to them?

It's physically impossible for them and us to see the moon at the same time. We are on opposite ends of the earth. This shouldn't be possible for us to both see it at the same time.

Guys, I think you are missing the point.

How is it possible we see it in the day here, yet China is simultaneously seeing it as well? It should be impossible to be seen at both locations at the same time.

Did you watch the video posted above?

The moon takes about 27 days to orbit the earth. So depending on where the moon is, we can have moonless nights or we (US and China) can observe the moon at the same time.

So take that orbit time and apply it to this image and don't forget about the earth rotating on an axis tilt. That is the best I can do, it is very hard to find an image with the right scale in motion. The way you talk about the moons makes it seem like its right next to us. The moon 238,000+ miles away from us. lol

Like this it what you are imagining:

My dude, the moon is far enough away to be seen on different continents at the same time
