My first time stealing happened in Winn-Dixie, this was when silly bands were still popular, right behind the booth where you get lotto tickets was a bin full of them,

A lot of the packs were ripped up and open, the store was full but I had no shame and started stuffing handfuls in my pocket

Stole 1200 bucks in field trip money for the Renaissance fair in High School.

Rich cacs at our high school could afford to go but hardly ever any black people so in my English class the teacher had collected the money for the fee to enter the Fair and put it in her desk...I saw where....we had to watch some movie in class and she went to the front of the class to get the tv working...

She was up there when the lights went out and I made my move....took all that money AND the money out her own wallet too. figured may as well rob this bytch for everything

Next day bytch was digging in her desk and couldn't find shyt. Had school cops, teachers, and princpal him damm self tearing up that class and interviewing students to see who took that money. Same day I took that money I went home and handed that shyt off to my brother who lived in another town since he was grown by that time and on his own.

Principal thought he was slick tho. He sent the police to my place asking questions and trying to talk to my parents but they didn't know and neither did I.

Waited about 2 months after the heat died down....me and my brother bought all kinds of shyt and my crown jewel was a big Sony Trinitron and a PS1 with Wipeout 1,2 and 3....

The best part...trip was cancelled....and man going to school seeing those seething white faces at that teacher made my day that entire semester.

In first grade this kid brought this to class showing it off

I had all the other Rangers but Jason cause he was so hard to find. He put it in his backpack in the cloak room and then I went and got it later on. As the day passed he went looking for it and was cause it was gone. The teacher asked me did I take it because I guess I was so excited when he was showing it off that it made me look like the likely suspect. I denied it and ended up going home like with it.

My mama asked me how did I get it did I steal it and I was like nah I found it at school That summer I was playing in the front yard throwing all my Rangers in the air and I ended up never being able to find the Jason one no matter how hard I looked. Karma I guess I mean I looked all through that yard.

I still remember the pain I felt when my bike was stolen right out of my driveway. I went inside for just 5 minutes and when I came out it was gone. I loved that bike. It even had a speedometer and calorie burner. This was back in 96. I looked all over the neighborhood but no luck. It sucks when people steal something you really like.

I also learned not to get attached to materials though.

I stole a dress from H&M.
I went to the itting room, and tried on 3 dresses. I liked them all, but didn't want to pay $75. The dress I didn't feel was worth $25, didn't have a sensor on it, so I folded it neatly, and put it at the bottom of my bag. Went and paid for the other 2 dresses. Walked out. What's funny is, I figured H&M wouldn't have security, but the next time I went to that location, I actually saw the cops there (I think they were about to arrest someone)

I have a similar story about Banana Republic. I don't recall what happened, but I ended up walking out with 2 dress, and only paid for 1. I worked in the clothing store, and when I got to work I told my boss/friend. I gave the stolen one to another coworker for her birthday the next day.

Oh, and I guess there's all the free stuff I got from my job when I worked in retail. Technically I didn't steal it. I people left merchandise behind (that they paid for at other stores), we were supposed to hold it in the store for 1 week in case someone claimed it. After that we were supposed to bring it to the security office, but I knew they were going to keep the stuff, so we'd take it-- whoever called dibs first got it. (even the managers) That's how I got my first pair of uggs.

I stole a lot couldn't make a list lol. From stores as a young kid, at work on certain jobs, even pulling scams.


I felt more worried about being caught and embarassed more than guilty. But I stopped as a young adult. I was good at it and enjoyed the risk factor. I refused to work with other people, when my friends stole they were too bait and would roll in a squad.

I remember walking into an American Apparel one time in the spring and the store was all young thots who didn't give a fukk, talking to each other or looking at their phones. I went to the men's section put on a spring jacket and just walked out the door like I owned the shyt.

Stole one of these from the mall when I was like 9. I put it on in the car and my sister saw it and told my mom but my dad covered for me and said he bought it. Then told me never to steal again. I didn't listen, I stole some gum from the store after that.

I was a clepto all through high school. I got so good at breaking those anti-theft buttons off fitteds from footaction that I didn't realize I became a booster. Kids in school would give me a list of what teams or what color way they needed and I would steal the shyt and get paid . It's funny cause when I finally got caught, I got caught stealing a marker from Winn Dixie to label my burnt cd's. It seemed so easy I just got caught slipping. Dude knew exactly where I put it and everything. First thing he checked was my socks. But that's petty, I was infamous for taking drug money for one thing and using it to buy blow and snorting all that shyt by myself in my hot ass car on a street corner. Pretty sure there's people that still want to kill me over this

Too much to list, and brehs wouldn't believe me anyway. I'll just say that I stayed scheming. I've fallen off twice since my mids 20's and I'm sure it was Karma coming back to me from those days. Real shyt young brehs, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, but just know that stealing and robbing comes back to you. Just want y'all to know the other side of the story
