I was interviewing for a job that paid well and would have had amazing benefits. But the group I'd be working under was directly responsible for the misfortune of many black people, espcially black men. Has anyone ever done this before?

Yes. I didn’t have a clear understanding of what the job was when I interviewed. As it turns out, the company would require me to try to get people to sell their homes in BK & Harlem. It sounded like gentrification. I said no.

I can’t believe I have a story that counts. I was so prepared to write this thread off as “dumb” & “unrealistic.” Sorry.

Some females were trying to get me to market some damn cake soap

They send me a description of the product that basically was some bs like “clears complexion” “beauty” Yada yada.

They send a sample and like a goop I tried to use it I take that shyt out the box and it’s a blue brick like a lil fake ass kilo or something.

Long story short I smelled that shyt and went and looked it up on google and lo and behold it was skin bleach. I just charged the ladies a ludicrous price and they just went elsewhere.
