I worked from 6PM to 6AM during Go-Live during when my Hospital opened a newly built hospital. It was sweet and actually enjoyed it. It is better when you have cool coworkers.

However working 12pm-7am or something along those lines would not be so bad.

You think 19 hour shifts sound better than 12 hours shifts? :ehh:

DID THE 12PM TO 8AM SHIFT FOR 2 YEARS. 7DAYS A WEEK. PUT AWAY ALMOST 10K EACH YEAR WHILE WORKING THERE.

You worked 20 hour shifts for 2 years, 7 days a week and only put back 20K?

I said that? I said that working 12-7 would be better than working 4pm-4am. I was moreso talking about the start time and hours worked. I wouldnt want to go in at 4pm

Used to work 12am to 8am as a freight elevator operator in the Metrotech building in downtown BK in the mid 90's. It was :ehh: I didnt have to do shyt but sit there and ride that shyt up and down all night. Had my radio bumping Nas, Mobb Deep, and Wu, a rack of Source magazines and even caught up on some comic book reading. Caught Rosie Perez giving me the eye on Myrtle Ave one morning going home. I was tired as hell, felt I looked like shyt, and she was with a dude. He mighta been gay tho. I was too sleepy to fight a nikka so I gave her a wink and kept it movin. She smiled. TRUE STORY. :jawalrus:

You said 12PM to 7AM though.

I used to work 10pm to 6am at the local county jail out here

Took my body weeks to get used to sleeping in the daytime..I hated it..It felt like one long ass day..I wasnt eating right, drinking too much coffee..I couldnt talk to my friends and family, because when they were up...I was sleep and vice versa..The only perk for me was not having to drive in traffic.

I'm working 10:30 pm - 2:30 pm now ... but switching back to 10:30 pm - 6:30 am next week.

I like it, but I don't like going out during the week. I live my weekends normally, and chill and sleep during the day. I do hate missing sporting events, but I'm able to stream at work.

Can't wait to do a normal shift though. Be a part of normal society, lol.

I did it at a grocery store one night with 5 other people, it was a 2 am - 8:30 am shift. As soon as we turned the lights on, all the mice went running for cover.
