I played cacsical music for 9 years . I wanted to play the cello or bass, but I ended up playing the violin. It was great, by my senior year it was easily my favorite class. Imagine sitting in a classroom for 7 hours, but one hour you get to play and be surrounded by soothing music .

Now I was still a hip hop head, so hearing strings in a rap song use to resonate with me, cause I know I or my class could easily play it. See this thread http://www.thecoli.com/threads/best-hip-hop-songs-with-violins-or-related-strings.228941/

I listen to it a lot, mostly Tchaikovsky, then some Bach or Beethoven.
One of the first classical songs I heard was Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and my mom had a collection of Bach/Beethoven/Mozart/Handel, which I basically used just for the Brandenberg Concertos.
Also, played violin and piano for 5+ years son:yeshrug:

This black girl (who was bad AF) played Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" live for me once at her music school. :banderas:
Just me and her in the room and I desperately wanted to hit but alas I was 14, no game and shy as fukk. :francis:
She threw it at me and I fumbled extra hard, I low-key still don't forgive myself to this day for letting her get away. :mjcry: Brehette was the only one to steal my heart something serious. :mjcry:

But to answer the question I like Jazz more, but I'll listen to movie scores and Beethoven mostly. Favorite Beethoven tracks are "Overture", "Symphony Nr. 5" (the spunk in it :banderas:) and "Moonlight Sonata" of course.

:wow:

Love the way classical music can set a mood. Remember going to the movies when I was little feeling :ahh: getting to the movie theater early and they're playing classical music before the movie starts. :blessed:
