PSA: Voting is still important and I'm voting in 2020 in the primary.

Anyway, I'm NOT enthusiastic about this shyt like I was in 2016. Elizabeth Warren announced her candidacy today and I'm just :ld: Politics depresses me and I keep up with what's important. Our government is an oligarchy and that likely won't change. They own our government (bankers/the elite). Also, the Israel/Palestine conflict. African-Americans get treated like shyt in this country :snoop: If Warren plans to bring true change and call out the elites like Bernie Sanders did they will fukk her over, but I sadly see Trump winning again in 2020. Three reasons: hard to defeat an incumbent, white voters who lie to the pollsters, and he benefits the elite class meaning that they are in it together.

Have you given up?

More or less yes. I want to better myself and live comfortably as possible and want the same for my children and loved ones. Life as we know it on this planet can't and won't be sustained another 400 years. Hope whatever rises from our (as a society) ashes learns from our mistakes. :yeshrug:

I'm at this point. Like I consider myself a Black Leftist/Progressive still, but I think that society is too brainwashed to see what's really going on. I just try to focus on the finer things. Sometimes ignorance really is bliss :mjcry:

Yes and no with the new progressive wave I witnessed in the last year I am enthusiastic. People that are struggling because of the shut down make me discouraged though overall I will still say no. I think a lot of hard times are ahead but I think things will get better because things are so bad atm.
