I have one, just gotta be careful with one thing about jeeps overall... they are more susceptible to rollover than other suvs. But unless you're trying to whip it, you should be fine.
Also I put custom speakers in mine. Not sure much of an audiophile you are but the stock ones were bad imo.

I love Ranges but everyone I know who bought one put $5k a year in it for some reason or another.
If I had the money I would eye a G series before I buy a Rover. Nice rental or short lease vehicle, but nothing to keep for 5 years.

Why is that? Are they top heavy?
Yeah supposedly the liberty and the wrangler are the worst about this but it used to be a jeep wide issue. I'm active on a jeep forum (this is my 2nd jeep) and people are pretty adamant that the Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee are the least rollover prone but I always caution people to be safe
YES! I had one a couple of years ago. I was in and out of the shop with it, constant overheating issues, check engine repair light stayed on. Turns out the model and year that I had were subject to faulty coolant issues. The bmws as a car are fine.. something about those X5s, structural difficulties. Newer models are probably better though. But it was perfect for heavy winters and getting through snow and ice; when it was drivable..lol.

I looked at one but was skeptical about getting one because I drive way too fast. I'm just gonna stick with what I got until something piques my interest

hit a curve one time too fast and it's a done deal. I don't drive less than 75 on open roads..lol.
on nikkas in him talmbout Dodge and Jeep. my brother's father in law retired from Chrysler. has lifetime discount of 15% below invoice. they bought about 6 cars over the years, dont want anymore. these cars are trash. from Cherokee to Avenger, to Durango, etc...
as far as Rovers, I had two. you have to get them close to new. you have to expect to put $2k maintenance per year in them because its expensive. my experience is, they go to about 150k, then shyt starts fukking up. once the problems come, you cant get rid of them. had my whole cooling system replaced and expansion tank still kept cracking. different models have different defects...like window regulator, manifold, cat, etc....the engines have been rock solid, did have a problem with tranny in the first one tho.
my brother in law has had 4 of them. he bought some old shyts though, basically paperweights. after my last couple of repairs on the last one, I sold it. didnt have any desire for any European or American so went with Nissan Armada and I like it much better.
