I will say though, almost everytime I've had a boss who I felt like this about on day 1 of a new job, it was usually was their way of gettin me on their side so I'd let their dikkheadness slide in the future.
If anything I'd actually take this kindness with caution.
I started my new job today and the boss is the coolest middle eastern man I've ever met in my life.
He said I can bring friends in, get hook ups on booths at the club etc (which is kinda pointless since I don't like clubbing but whatevs). He pretty much said as long as I get my shyt done, he'll take very good care of me. PLUS he listens to me and takes my opinions seriously
Why wasn't my old boss like this?

Through social media, websites etc. I do all of the strategic planning and I also implement it. Managing the FB, twitter accounts/maintaining FB ads, updating the website and stuff like that.

Nah, I'm 100 percent sure he's banging the bartenders there and he's also like 40 years old.
My boss is an ex-Marine who went into social work for 20 years before deciding that people aren't shyt and he didn't want to help them anymore. He's always talking about how the 70s were the greatest decade ever and every day he reminds us of how many days he has left until retirement.
