Having a "rap voice" Vol. Do I sound Corny?

When I listen to myself rap I feel like I sound weird as hell, people tell me that it's normal to be uncomfortable with your own voice but maybe my voice ain't made for rap I'd like some honest opinions, cuz ima just chill on recording & stick to backyard cyphers if my voice is weird.
