Wat age is that ?
I don’t consider it age specific

More like priority. I do not miss sitting at a barbershop waiting for another man to cut my hair.

Being presentable is one thing, but for black men it shouldn’t be any more important than it is for other races. Especially if it’s just hairline. Just look good when it matters most

i wouldn't say its lame, just nothing to brag about. like any haircut/wax job, of course it looks nice when you get it but if it grows out after a week or two it's not like you turned into a pumpkin or some shyt.
do you walk around with 2 week old braids?

I have decent hairline but I feel like the greys will get me by 30.

I'm 26 and I have some noticeable strands of grey hair due to genetics because some of my uncles on my mother's side of the family started greying in their early 20s.
