I attended private schools, so no ebonics.

BUT...
I drop 1990s slang like "dude" or "awesome" or "sucks." I might mumble a casual conversational "what the fukk." Sometimes I lack savoir faire. If I don't know something, I get tongue-tied instead of BS-ing my way thru it. Panic! And my face is easy to read.

Word! I pretty much talk the same with just zero slang/jargon. Even if theres another black guy working i dont say nikka tell i gear him drop it a few times

I also hate the fact the cacs have to say what's up to me.. I always say hi, how are you doing...

I speak proper in and out of work.... I caught flack for speaking proper until the hood respected that I was going to do big things ... LOL.. people thought I was trying to be arrogant until they saw thats how I am 24/7. I cant even use shorthand in my text messages... It's all sentences with punctuation.
