I worked Customer Service at Verizon. This old man (60) comes into pay his daughters(35) cell phone bill

She fukked around ordered a bunch of ringtones and music. Bill was close to 1300.

Old man was heated. I used to get a kick out of situations like that. Seen people throw shyt, scream, and talk shyt once they leave the store

The good thing, you can make notes on their account, and ban them from the store.

Verizon, Sprint, Nextel , ATT. They were all eating REALLY good before unlimited data and calls came around

:mjlol:

Not gonna front, I got caught slipping too once, downloading ringtones. It was like $900. They took care of the bill as a courtesy (this was before I worked at at&t), my father nearly beat my ass.:lolbron:

I remember like it was yesterday. I was a Youngin’ around this time. My aunt would let me have her phone the entire weekend and at night time.
:wow:

I was only in middle school, but it was basically like having my own Nokia at the time.

Eh, I feel like we was already waiting that late to call people since the house phone days.:unimpressed: If you worked, went to school, had a life, you weren’t at home during the day to take any phone calls. That’s why people had answering machines. But I even remember before most people even had them because those basic ass Mickey Mouse type phones was the standard in the 90’s. Not everyone had a cell in the early 2000’s either. I feel like cellphones didn’t become the phenomenon they are today until smartphones became ubiquitous by the early 2010’s. When I had an old school LG flip phone back in like 06’, it was mostly a rock in my pocket that I used to text bytches and a pocket watch because you had to pay high ass prices by the damn minute for their bootleg Verizon internet service that constantly crashed, was slow as hell and many website didn’t load on that tiny ass screen. :mjtf:
