Thought I was balling with this joint back in the day, flip down mic, multi-line backlit display, thumbwheel scroll for menus and contacts on the side. Belt holster so cats knew what it was when they seen it. You couldn't tell me shyt!!! :russ:

Dallas, Texas but living in Houston, Texas
I worked Customer Service at Verizon. This old man (60) comes into pay his daughters(35) cell phone bill

She fukked around ordered a bunch of ringtones and music. Bill was close to 1300.

Old man was heated. I used to get a kick out of situations like that. Seen people throw shyt, scream, and talk shyt once they leave the store

The good thing, you can make notes on their account, and ban them from the store.

Verizon, Sprint, Nextel , ATT. They were all eating REALLY good before unlimited data and calls came around
I worked for Sprint in a call center and I remember those calls from parents, grandparents, etc calling in PISSED because their bills rang up with those ringtones, music, games, etc! :lolbron:

Boy what a time.....and as long ago as it seems. I still remember before all that. Regular LAN lines, calling cards, long distance calling,. I remember how we were like cavemen looking at fire when "*69" and "Caller ID" hit the hood.

Surprised they didn’t keep that up. Imagine how much they would finesse now if Snapchat had fees to send text.
