That early to mid 2000s era were some of the best times of my life even with the technological limitations.

When the technology matured and smartphones started to get popping and carriers started offering those unlimited talk and text plans in the latter part of the 2000s it was game over.

I ushered the art of that falling into randoms DMs trying to get lucky on a slow night when my other prospects weren’t panning out. Good times.

talking on speakerphone. Blows my mind.

On another note, I remember getting lost in North Carolina and using my phone’s GPS for the first time. My bill was like $300 for using it for an hour
:russ: I remember apartment hunting in Queens and I got lost and used up my entire data for the month in 1 hour.
