He should reveal the REAL secret to that beat

The fact that q tip actually made that shyt. :lolbron:

Havoc my have created that piano loop but q tip was responsible for everything else. The drums, the other blended samples, and engineering.

Anyone who is a student of hip hop production knows Q tip pretty much did all the beats on the infamous album. And he only got credit for like 2 of them.

Just listen to the drums on every track. Those are q tips ATCQ drums! And listen to the beautifully blended jazz samples in a lot of them. Thats signature q tip.

Probably why q tip never worked with them again and why the infamous album was so great
No he didnt. You havent heard the demo. The most tip did in terms of helping havoc admitted was that he was involved with some of the drum programming which you can tell he added something in such as survival of the fittest. Havoc was already up and running. He has the talent for making beats. Other than that, stop fronting on havoc. Hes nice. He really got an ear and knows how to work with that sampler. Still shocked at how he did the hell on earth beat. Youre hating.

Wasn't an R&B head, but Grand Puba must have pump faked. In his "One for All" verse, he threw in the "saying bye bye [dumb B]" in his verse. Saying bye bye is from the Goodbye Love record by Guy, so that's the record I always thought people were referring to.

:mjlol::mjlol:

Wait WHAT?!

Never heard that one, hilarious!!

My bad it was Goodbye Love song
