Bleed The Freak
Superstar
Gareth Evans might be the best director of close quarter combat fighting I've ever seen
Perfectly acceptable popcorn type flick...i enjoyed this![]()
The BTS looking assassin chick got some serious martial arts skill
Edit- I'll be damned that was Michelle Waterston
I met her too
The chaotic gunplay was very Max Payne coded. John Moore and Marky Mark could never.Yeah, it was cool seeing her in this and she was a highlight of the film.
In terms of action or story, it didn't blow me away but did have some nice shootouts, especially in the club and cabin. Would have liked a few more creative sequences, only because the bar for Gareth Evans is so high after the Raid films. Although this is very much gun focused compared to martial arts combat.
Cool seeing Jesse Mei Li from Shadow and Bone and Lale from Gangs of London pop up as well.
I'm saying. Mindless action and violence. That's what it accomplished and I was satisfied. shyt aint that deep like others in here making it out to be.This movie accomplished what it needed for me it's 4.5/5

. . . 6.5/10 . . . . the city looks like an AI combo of NYC... Chicago . .. Detroit . and SF. . . .. the accents of the characters are all over the place . .. guns have unlimited ammo . . . . takes 30 minutes to get the story moving . . .. . Timo took the crown for this genre . . .. . Gareth needs to fall-back and work with Thomas Jane on his Neeson retirement run . .. . . .
