Have you never heard P’s second verse on Hell on Earth? :dahell:
Hell On Earth is one of my favorite albums of all time :dahell:
P is in my top 5 all time, but I prefer Havocs verse on that song :yeshrug:
P's verse was classic too, but my favorite part of the song is when Havoc goes off
We rep the QBC, nikka, rep yours, it's all love
Milli' stacked down, heavily guarded by hollow-tip slug
Then crack down on wannabe thugs
Adapt to gat sound and bow down
Slow the fukk up, see how my foul now
Articulate, hittin' body parts to start shiftin' shyt
Never hesitant, it's the rap game unlimited
Sign my roster, we can do this, forever infinite
Then reminisce twenty years later how we was gettin' it
:dj2:

Above the fray.
This non responsive. Post receipts of people saying Havoc was terrible. You claimed his bars were always terrible. Back it up.
Silkk the Shocker got requested for features and he was a terrible rapper. So your point is meaningless.
Back up your claim.
You're reaching to defend Havoc. Where would the receipts come from? Other NY rappers dissing Hav on record for his bars out of the blue? ..with his brother being a known hitter and his crew notorious for doing dumb shyt all the time?

No Limit was a huge movement that moved millions of albums. Even Def Jam threw Master P on a remix of a posse song with their own flagship artists BECAUSE the TANK was so hot down South and moving units. You know this very well, and why Silkk, a solo artist, in addition to being in TRU, would be asked do features.

Was asking about their gritty era NYC artists, asking for that Hav feature?

You’re reaching saying Hav had terrible bars. You have no receipts to back it up and no one agrees with you. Meanwhile, while We’re having this back and forth, I’m going back and forth with @LOST IN THE SAUCE about his claim that Hav had the best verse on Hell on Earth, a song with an all time top tier P verse. I guess @LOST IN THE SAUCE is a fan of terrible bars? I guess when Mega posted that Hav was the most consistent rapper of all time it was because he’s a fan of terrible bars. I guess when Hav was on Drink Champs and Nore recited his verse from Start of Your Ending word for word it was because he’s a fan of terrible bars? I guess when Black Moon was recording their all time classic LP Enta Da Stage they reached out to Hav for a guest spot because they were fans of terrible bars? And half the time P did a guest verse Hav was on the song as well, I guess they all wanted terrible bars on their songs.

TERRIBLE TAKE.

What other members eat don't make me shyt. They have their opinions I have mine. Havoc was trash, not just in comparison to P , but a nondescript rapper.
Nore pays homage to every hip hop guest, so him reciting a Hav verse doesn't mean as much as him paying homage to G Rap, Grand Daddy IU, Pac and others who he is on record for admiring years before the podcast.

Hav is great behind the boards, but not gonna sit here and lie about his rap skills. Especially for the era that Mobb Deep was part of.

You are definitely entitled to your opinion. It’s just that literally no one agrees with you. That should tell you something. Your opinion is similar to someone claiming Smilez and Southstar was the best duo of all time.

Havoc dont suck at rapping... he is just very unmemorable ... which might be worse than being a bad rapper imo.....

Prime P best performances were better of course but Havoc always held his own and at sometimes outshined P. Also he was responsible for most of the hooks. This song alone to me should silence anyone doubting Havoc’s lyrical pedigree.

Always looked at Hav and P how i look at 3k and big boi. Big and Hav are top tier lyricist who could rap circles around 80 percent of rappers.... But P and 3k are in the 20 percent due to the way they can grab and hold your attention while displaying a style thats there own.

The Infamous, Hell on earth and murda muzik havoc wasn't on P level. After the first three it was a toss up.

The "always" statement in the OP is ducktales. Prodigy was clearly the superior rapper on The Infamous. Havoc def leveled up on Hell On Earth but so did Prodigy, who was clearly top 5 in 1997. In 99 it was close but Havoc was still better. After that if you want to say Havoc became the better rapper I won't fight you.
