I’ve never heard any emcee rap the way P was rapping on the Infamous. It was like illlmatic Nas but more sinister

always felt like Illmatic was from the perspective of a nikka that's surrounded by fukkery and witnessed a lot of shyt, and the Infamous from the perspective of the nikkas actually doing dirt

I have read before that early on, P was more into production and Hav was the MC but as time went they switched roles and both excelled
