It's weird that people habitually question Dwight drive and how hard he plays where he has played on two teams, the lakers and the rockets, where NOBODY attempted to play any defense but him and NOBODY attempted to get any rebounds but him...

His last year in Houston was a big mans worst nightmare...nobody playing defense everybody shooting 3's nobody running real plays nobody boxing out nobody giving him the ball in any type of consistent fashion...

I still remember at the end of one game where Dwight had 3 people on him and Harden tried to lop him an alley oop

I'd take him in Swag Antonio in a heart beat to replace Aldridge or Pau...

Dwight played hard in LA?...lol. The same dude that refused to run p/n/r and never developed a single legit post move. Yea. Hard work. Dude is physically gifted, but leaves ALOT to be desired as a basketball player skill wise.

Facts. I'll be fair he was facing that shoulder injury that year but his behavior on offense was just inexcusable. He's definitely a beast on defense but the nikka averages 13 ppg. Which wouldnt be so bad if he got those 13ppg without pretending he's Shaq and demanding the ball in the post every play

kobe was at his end & couldn't defend
pau was finesse player that didn't like to defend
nash was 40 & never could defend
and he was suppose to begin his season in jan/feb coming off back surgery - yet was in the starting line up from the opener

LA and Houston were his two worst decisions in career

That whole lakers roster was a bad fit from beginning, we saw it in the preseason them old dudes were struggling already

Dwight and Pau was never a good combo. They bring the Bynum and Pau duo saying look this shyt worked before, forgetting that they had Lamar Odom who was excellent to team up with those two. He wasn't there anymore when Dwight was brought in.

Nash and Kobe was some of the worst defensive backcourt I ever seen.

Then he leaves Kobe for another Kobe in Houston

Dwight had excellent playoff run in 2015, when Beverley was out and Dwight once again had to carry their defense. They had a jason terry or prigioni at the pg
