Took the last couple days to think about it and Ferry needs to go. He's done a great job in managing the team, but the blatant racism and ignorance of his comments (IDK if he was just repeating them) is too much to come back from.

I wanna keep him. Hawks haven't had this bright of future in 10 years. It's not like he's got certified racist history like a Donald Sterling either, hes been in the league for 30 years and no one ever called him a racist from what I remember.
I wanna give him a chance but on the other hand racism is one of the few things I (personally) really can't excuse, and the Hawks are already battling other issues when e.g. trying to sign FAs so having him still there would not improve that issue.
That said Bud seems like a really nice coach and I would be sad to see him leave, I've enjoyed last years Hawks a lot more than most years before.
Just a completely fukked up situation, I don't really see how they can get out of this without destroying some of the good stuff that they built (which they already have)
