Whatever article this is, its over a year old and inaccurate to the current state of affairs (says 2021 several times over)

There's misinformation about the amount they promised apparently, but the amount they ended up going with was still more than before in history

Props for this post

Losers will ignore this

Its sad that they are cutting it, but ive just realized how low a sum the original amount was. The article is kinda right when they say that we dont give to hbcu(s) as a black community. Its not a priority for us.

If the 20million working black people chipped in 200 a month, we could equal the original 40 billion amount. And its tax deductable too. Id much prefer my tax dollars went in this direction than whatever congress funneled the rest of that amount to. And thats not counting potential black bussiness contributions either
Sorry breh but that's a glass half full statement. HBCUs are primarily in the south. Unless they traveled to go to HBCUs, there areas like the west where people have no associations with them. Also people should not be obligated to continue spending money at institutions after they graduated regardless if a HBCU or PWI. These same institutions will tell you to shut the fyck up when you question why tuition is going up every year and not the quality of education.

None of this says we are in a recession. We are having positive GDP growth

A recession is a slowdown in the economy. There’s nothing slow

I think I missed the part where black people voted for Trump en masse or even negotiated with him in the first place to get something in return. Remember how even talking with Trump made you a c00n like Ice Cube? Not sure what Trump even has to do with anything when I've never voted for Trump or any Republican. Actually, I do. It's a clear diversion tactic to cover up the bait and switch of over promise and underdeliver that just got pulled. 30+ billion was promised and 2 was delivered.

Theres 3 numbers to consider

$45B

$2B

$0B <<<<<<< so this is the number you prefer?

In general, Black colleges have lacked the fundraising ability of other universities.

Ladies and gentlemen y’all know the primary source of college endowments is alumni donations right?

Is this another thing thecoli doesn’t want to address or talk about?

We have to learn it is US who are responsible for own organizations. Yeshiva university isn’t running out of money out here. Come on let’s keep it a buck
