Him overselling at Summerslam was the ultimate at Hogan..shyt was

The promo after summerslam was awesome....dude straight buried hogan like "you will NEVER see him here again" and exposed him for the typical cutting and running bullshyt

Find it incredible how quickly Shawn was able to go full heel, lamblast Hogan in that parody prior to the SS match, oversell/shoot like a champ in the actual match, attack him again post-SS and still turn FACE that very same minute when Chris Masters came down. Amazing

I thought this heel stretch (albeit much shorter) was better than his 97 run.

He beat Shawn at his own game and that made him furious. Hall & Nash still co-sign Hogan though.

I hate Hogan and Hickenbottom, hated that feud and the final match but that segment made me laugh. I lost it when he started making the noises when he was doing the posing

It isn't really a "heel turn" because he's not making an effort to get the crowd to boo him. He's really only focused on ethering Hogan. It showcases HBK's excellent heel talents, but it wasn't really what you'd call a heel turn.

But either way, to me it was one of HBK's career highlights.
