Too bad they'll probably never HD The Wire.

From what i've read The Wire wasn't shot in HD. So it's never going to happen. But they do have it up in Upconvertered HD. So that's the best it will get.

This is all new in my area (and Comcast as far as i know) so I'm happy. :yeshrug:

I'd recommend Carnivale if anyone has never seen it. It's dope.

ehh i don't really get the aspect ratio argument but i do understand not doing it in hd in a way to get a more "gritty" feel

David Lynch liked that ratio as well.

He shot Twin peaks in 4:3. I have that in HD but it feels odd not being in 16:9.
