i watched first 4 episdoes cuz everyone said it was great. i gave up wasn't feeling it
I don't know if I told you this but the first four episodes of season 1 sucked and shouldn't be used to judge anything.

Explain to me though, if the show sucked so bad, why come back to the thread?

I know it sounds ridiculous, but you would have to force yourself to watch the whole season. What happens later on basically sets the actual plot in motion. It ain’t for everyone I feel you. But if you want to try again I would say if you watch the whole first season it would be a better indicator. Hated it at first. Now I can’t get enough of it

I didn't fall in love with Succession until I dropped it after the first three or four episodes, ignored the first two seasons (accolades, awards, and all), then went back and gave it another try.

I'm having trouble getting into Succession, but I'll keep going

I’d suggest watching until the board meeting episode (episode 6). I liked it from the beginning but I know plenty of people needed to warm up to it, and that’s the episode that gets most people hooked. If you’re not feeling it after that episode then it just isn’t for you.

Also, it’s the kind of show where you have to fully pay attention during the quiet moments because some of the best parts are the body language and the silent looks. It’s a show about power and so much of it is unspoken, and lots of shows can be watched while scrolling on your phone in between dialogue but this isn’t one of them.
