Wasn't the best documentary ever or even Top 5 on HBO but it was an enlightening watch if you'd never heard of the story like myself. I now know it to be referenced in a few shoes here and there due to hindsight but it was good to hear it from some of the actual individuals who were there for it and participated in the doc. More of a psychological study of trauma than anything.

Dark Places is really good. As good as Gone Girl, maybe. Not as much social commentary, darker, weirder book. But for sure better than Sharp Objects, as a novel.
