EDIT: I'm like this feels like Tarintino, meaningless, romantic violence and sure enough , he's influenced by it. The Legacy of Terrence Malick's 'Badlands'

I don't remember it having a cliffhanger. I'm sure you could watch and enjoy, even though I believe they didn't expect to end after Season 3.
