I the new CEO is there to be the antagonist, not for comic relief.

I think his goal is is to pump up the apparent value of the company, so he can sell the whole thing to a major corporation and cash out.

This show touches on some real shyt. It comes off as all jokes, but there are valuable lessons to be learned.
