Yes people expectations for this are too high for a 1st ep or season and going in. It's like damn like every show let it find its stride!

It one was to judge a show off 1st ep then how are so many fans of so many other shows?

I'm gonna stick with using Curb as an example cuz we all know how funny and great that show is plus this girl I'm dating just for HBOGo so I'm putting her on to it cuz she never even heard of it.

Looking back recently at that 1st ep, that shyt was kinda wack as hell and as much as I raced to her about how funny it is she been looking at me like "when this gonna start getting funny?" And even I'm like "trust me, keep watching it gets better"

Let this show play out please!! Let the Rock work!

Big meh so far, Entourage has Ari, and Empire has Andre, but the Dwayne just doesn't bring it, he has no gravitas and his attempt to be edgy via dropping a few "fukks" here and there isn't convincing. Also I'm a little tired of Pete Berg trying to rehash some warped view of a business he knows nothing about. I'm sure he fell in love with the Rock when he did the Rundown with him, but this guy directed Battleship...no thank you, as far as directing a hard hitting series about a football talent agent goes....he might as well just sign the last checks now.

Ummmm.... I don't think Rocks purpose is to be the Ari or Andre type for this show tho!

I think that's reserved for Denzel's son and based off what I know of his other work Rob Cordry's character

I HATE how people on here are rewriting history with Entourage.

That shyt was funny. Writing wasn't amazing, characters weren't multifaceted, and the storylines weren't great. It relied on low brow jokes which they did over and over again. But it's audience didn't care cuz it was fukking funny.

No one is asking for in-depth "brilliant" writing on this show, but nikkas need to stop excusing unfunny episodes. It's a comedy, all it needs to do is be funny.
