I think he would profit by cutting himself a slice of ownership and getting commission on the deal, the deal would allow him to pay back ricky and all the folks he borrowed money from.

Anderson going all in makes sense though, a football team is nothing but pure profit.

I'm pretty sure he's going all in on the land/stadium deal in hopes that it lands them a team. And I bet it blows up in their face (likely by another party getting it done...i.e. what happened in real life).

The way I understand it, he'd own the land and the stadium, so he'd charge the Raiders to play there and make profits off of every time it's used. He could use that position as leverage to actually purchase the team (there's precedence for this jf you look at how Robert Kraft came to own the Patriots. He originally lost the bid to buy the team, but he won the bid for the stadium and parking lots surrounding the stadium. He used that position to pretty much force the party that outbid him for the team to sell him the Patriots).

I agree it's silly for him to go all in.
