I honestly think those shots of those black guys (the hearse driver and Bodie's friend) were red herrings. There is more to this story and I don't think we have all the information in the first episode. How does a early 20s year old girl have a house one block from the park? And she lives by herself?

Gandolfini developed this show early on with the creator. He also was going to star in it, but died after he did some filming for the pilot. That's why Gandolfini is heavily credited on this. This project was special to him.

This may be something that I need to watch all together when it's done. I can't believe I just wasted over an hour watching the first episode...shyt was Felt like it could have been a half hour episode but they fitting in all these people and cameras seeing him in places that they'll get around to as the series moves on. But everything Naz did was just plain stupid and I hope he goes down for this...don't care if he's innocent I want his head just for being a dumbass.

Was high as gas watching this, kept me thinking throughout about what happened..who did it? etc....also thought shouldve been what True detective season 2 shouldve been..white girl had a sexy ass vibe..the pacing..atmosphere..everything stuck ..Im sold..def added to my viewing list! 10/10..
