Following up does anyone know how these guys are getting around without a legit SSN? I understand theres some temp worker ID you can get but how is it possible to not know your immigratuon status?

People steal ssn’s all the time, I expect identity theft to explode

I got dual citizenship & when I was younger I lived in the states, had no idea that my Canadian SIN number wasn't the same as a SSN , got hooked up with a phone plan and was working as a cook at a pub

Turned out the girl had no idea my girlfriend at the time worked at the kiosk next to her and she likely just put in some random numbers and it affected someone elses credit the girl who hooked me up never looked at me again after all that
