As a side note this is a quick way for other countries to unload their jail population. Say they could have their freedom by working for Russia and ship them off to the frontlines.

theres an even greater price to pay to have a number of former prisoners who've gained combat experience and possibly PTSD returning to your country. russia is currently experiencing this.

I mean it sucks, but even if they were going as "helpers" or "security" they would be legitimate targets for military action anyways. To top it all off you plan to do it for a country that has does flagrant shyt all the time, so i cant feel bad for them. The only ones i feel anything for are the ones that said they traveled their as tourists and got snatched up.
