It's fukked up what cheeto said but truth is he's right. I would say the same thing if it was a cac green beret that got killed and Trump said the same thing to his family. I was in the military but had a non combat MOS but we all know there is a chance of getting killed in a war. Your chances are slimmer if not infantry, scout, etc but there is a chance. This guy was special forces not some warehouse clerk, Motor T, administration, etc. so his risks were even higher since they go into locales that a platoon, company, etc. are generally not going to be there.

I almost joined the military,but when it came time to take that pledge I backed out. You shouldn't be willing to pledge to anybody but your wife,family and your god. I can't agree to kill whoever you ask me too,whenever you say so or face consequences.

These are often times kids signing up for something,but not knowing what they are getting into.

But at the end of the day they do technically KNOW what they are signing up for. They are agreeing to sign up to potentially be hitmen for hire,in order to get free educations and better their lives,or because their mothers are threatning them with homelessness at 18 if they don't have a job.
