Where were these complaints when the Lakers and Celtics were trading titles? Bulls would have run off 8 straight titles if Jordan didn't retire. Lakers and Spurs won 8 of 10 titles from 99 to 09.

NBA has always had a problem with league competitiveness. It's just a problem now because you don't like the Warriors. The only time there was a semblance of parity was the 70s.

If the coli existed back then please believe there would be many fans of small mrkt teams and non-championship contending teams writing novels about how unfair shyt was

Maybe folks said the league would suffer but I didn't. I simply said we now know who's winning the next 4-5 titles and that's pretty garbage. Even the folks that yell about how there were dominant teams in the past and how the Lakers and Celtics kept playing ignore the fact that there was legit competition because you didn't know which of those 2 teams would win. Even the first 2 Cavs/Dubs were fun because it was 2 great teams. Last year it was 1 great team and 1 unbeatable team and everyone was just hoping for 6 or 7 games. The league is fun for a number of reasons but its still lame that there's an unbeatable team in a sport that uses 7 game series to decide titles. Nobody is beating that team 4 times in 7 games until they break up

He didn’t kill the league. He did hurt parity but the nba has never been a league full of parity. It’s typically 3-4 squads that are true contenders..KD just eliminated two with his decision. I respect the Rockets for making moves to win now but barring injury the warriors have at least two more rings on the way.

There is no evidence of that whatsoever. Durant may get shade but as a whole people don't hate GS. If anything people like them because they have been blocking LeBron.

When people say ruined the league they didnt mean no one would watch. They were talking about killing the competition/parity/excitement of not knowing who's gonna win the championship.

At what point in time was that the case? During the overwhelming majority of the NBAs existence there have been 2 maybe 3 teams at any point in time that could win the title. Boston can win next year with a healthy roster and Houston can if they add a scoring wing.

A lot of nikkas think it’s cause of Bron but truthfully it’s cause my second favorite player in the league is Russell Wesbrook.

I’ve had to sit back and defend Russy for years while KD got a pass for being a passive bytch and mentally shook in big playoff games over and over again.

KD is a fragile man child that NEVER gets criticized to the full extent for his fukk ups.

I remember when Tony Allen shut him down and had him shook and OKC media ran a article criticizing him and quickly had to apologize cause the national media was like “ bu bu bu you’ll hurt KDs feelings”

But anytime shyt went bad they could all just pile on Russy cause he was the “problem”

He then Chokes against GS and everyone once again just blames Russy like Durant didn’t have costly turnovers in crunch time trying to drive his lanky ass to the rim.

I can’t even imagine the vitriol LeBron would recieve if he choked up a 3-1 lead in the conference finals


Then KD runs to GS and didn’t even recieve half the criticism and vitriol he SHOULD HAVE for not only making GS stronger but MORE IMPORTANTLY eliminating thier biggest threat by far when he left OKC.
