Dubs went 16-1 last year and are gonna go 16-2 this year. Any idiot can see there’s absolutely no parity. The league has never seen anything like this before. Point to Lakers/Celtics back in the day all you want, but even only two good teams makes it infinitely more enjoyable than one.
No matter how you spin it KD at least temporarily ruined the NBA. Imagine if Shaq joined the 72-10 Bulls after he lost to them in the conference finals. Not only did he ruin the competitive balance but he did it by joining the team he lost to after being up 3-1 in the WCF.
Who cares how many people are watching the games when we all know who's gonna win the Finals this year and probably next year? The viewing numbers doesnt change the fact that the product is getting increasingly boring.
He took away so much excitement from the league. If Lebron got flack for leaving the trash ass Cavs the first time to join a sub 40 win Miami team with Wade, Bosh, and virtually no one else then KD needs to get even more for joining arguably the greatest team in NBA history

cause people don't have shyt else to watch on a monday, tuesday, wednesday night... if you love basketball, what the hell else you watching?Media has been pushing the narrative that it will a competitive series. After watching game 1 and seeing it won't be competitive, idk why ppl would continue to watch

if we go back in the past, even the dynasties, usually had another dynasty to face.. nobody was 3 peating constantly except MJ.. and the series were still competitive.
watching the regular season is a complete joke, when the 1st ranked team can't even sniff the warriors... what the finals gonna be like? another 4-5 game blowout series with one team having zero shot... yaaaay lets do it for the third time next year
