take a walk through central park
see if any interesting comedians at comedy cellar or any of the others
have a drink on a rooftop bar to take in the views. if you wanna do a fancy one, perhaps try Le Bain on the roof of Standard hotel
take a walk down 125th. its true that harlem isnt as it was, but its still the only harlem we got. visit some of the wonky african/incense stores if you feeling it. spoonbread too is the touristy soul food joint up there.
i would recommend getting some good dim sum in chinatown or bulgogi/kbbq in k town or ramen..
i might get to some bk/queens recs later.. or nah..

Chicago is segregated, but it’s not like you go to the north and don’t see any Black people. It ain’t the south or the west, but you will see a decent amount of brehs in a few areas up there. Some of them spots can even get a little grimey on that end too. Don’t sleep on the Northside. And a lot of that segregation is also ethnic enclaves like Eastern Europeans on this block, Palestinians on the next block, some Ethiopians over here and some Haitians over there. Everybody got they own little section, moreso back in the day but it’s still around. And ironically that’s what made NYC cool, ethnic enclaves. Chicago ain’t nothing but a smaller Blacker version of NY. It’s crazy you called it Cac infested cuz its a reason brehs from Black ass places like Detroit, NO and ATL love it up there, that’s Black America’s version of “Ima leave home and pull up in the big city”.
Uptown and Rogers park full of black people. Young pappy and other nikkas from up there and as you can see they get it in. nikkas never left their milquetoast suburb talking about Chicago full of cacs
