3800 LBS WITH EVERY OPTION AVAILABLE. TESTER CARS COME EQUIPPED WITH EVERYTHING. PERFORMANCE PACKAGE WITH BASIC EVERYTHING ELSE MAKES THE 2015 ONLY 10LBS HEAVIER THAN A STRIPPED DOWN PERFORMANCE PACKAGE 2014. ON TOP OF THAT THERE WAS A HP GAIN.

The thing is, Ford severely gimps the V6 version compared to the V8. Not just in engine size but mad features too.

THE V8 IS DETUNED WAY MORE. THEY GIMPED THE V8 FOR MPG BUT THAT HURTS THE V6 BECAUSE GIVING IT ECO BOOST WOULD PUT IT TOO CLOSE TO THE V8. THE 3.5L ECOBOOST WOULD BE AWESOME BUT FORD IS GOING TO PROTECT THE 5.0.

IT WOULD BE BADASS IF THEY WOULD HAVE BROUGHT BACK THE THUNDERBIRD WITH THE 3.5L ECOBOOST OR THE CAPRI OR SOMETHING AND MADE THAT THE 2 SEATER ROADSTER WITH THE 2.3L ECOBOOST.

THEN OPEN THE PERFORMANCE PACKAGE UP TO THE 480ISH HP THE ENGINE CAN REALLY PUT OUT. AND OPEN UP THAT QUIET ASS EXHAUST. CAMAROS AND CHALLENGERS JUST SWALLOW IT UP AT THE LIGHT.

I was watching a "first drive" video today about this, and I was confused as hell at the numbers.

I guess they figure with all the aftermarket/factory shops tuning Mustangs, If people want more power from their V8's, they can always jump into a Roush, Saleen, or Shelby. :manny:

I have a strong feeling the official Shelby version for this model is gonna bring some God-like numbers.
