Before opening the thread, I knew it was going to be about the similarity between slavery. Although I am in a money league at work I have noticed it as well.

I remember during the whole Donald Sterling thing that when Matt Gieger (I think that's how his name is spelled) played for him, they met for a golf game with other owners and Sterling was complimenting Geiger's muscular build and pinching the back of his arms and shoulders to show him off to the other owners...

If you can't/won't notice the direct parallels, you might be lost breh.
If you look beyond the surface that gets projected (million dollar payouts, women and the life, etc, pop culture effects) you realize how harmful that institution has really been as a whole on blacks.
