Well considering he withdrew damn near all of us from over there and then made cuts to troop numbers across every branch, I'd say it's working almost as he planned.

He brought all these troops home for what tho ? To fund ISIS? To fund all these organizations that we are now targeting ? To DESTROY Syria? Did Russia not go into Syia and beat the breaks off ISIS while Obama sat around saying Russia was fighting the wrong army. You don't need 100,000 troops when you have a few drones that can replace them .

Obama never said that. He was just against the Iraq war. He ran on ramping up the aggression on Afghanistan and Pakistan and used the same hawkish rhetoric as any post-WW2 president.

I don't know what campaign you were watching, but I watched Obama consistently say Bush fukked up by diverting attention away from Al Qaeda to Iraq, and run on a foreign policy platform of a ramping up of the Afghanistan war and increasing drone bombings of Pakistan. He was anti-Iraq war, he was never anti-war in general. And that Nobel peace prize was bullshyt and it happened after he got elected. He was drone bombing Pakistan villages while he won it.
