I'm not a fan of Tryst. Went there last year and wasn't thrilled with it. Everyone seemed to bounce around 2:30ish which was a little weird. Plus they started repeating songs that were a year old after a while (we went on a Friday).
Haven't been to XS or Marquee but have heard great things about both.

it is what it is. You got $25 burgers at some joints. As expensive as NYC is, it's much easier to get a decent meal at a good price there. You have to go to David's (pronounced Dahveed) next time my G, get you some Cuban sandwiches for like $4-6.
