The reason she ages slower than most white women is because she has some black blood in her. Her grandfather (or great grandfather) is Lumbee. They are group of people for North Carolina that lived together...mixed with mostly with black and native american and a sprinkle of white. Locklear is a Lumbee name. They were a mixed group that tribe to pass an indigenous but the government for the most part didn't recognize them. They were considered half-breed by the Klan who constantly fought with them.

She has obviously had some work done, which is typical of Hollywood. She still looks good for her age though.
