Where did this Manziel ain't accurate shyt come from. dude is completing 74% of his passes.and average's 10 yards PER ATTEMPT Which are FAR longer Attempts wise than most QB's so he is throwing accurate while slinging that bytch downfield. And don't get me started about dudes quickness. You got to throw a spy on him every play. He might not take it 60 in the NFL but he can damn sure take it 30 if your Defense is asleep or to concerned about The WR's to look in that backfield. And whats up with this size obsession yall have. How many bums in the league playing QB at 6'3" and over..

Tim Tebow was arguably the best college QB ever. Doesn't mean anything in the NFL. 74% is great. However, gimmick offenses don't work in the NFL. WR's aren't wide open in the NFL. There are no college defenders in the NFL.

Colt Brennan threw for damn near 6,000 yards one year in college. Hit bout 75% of his passes too. Did absolutely NOTHING in the league. Look up Ty Detmer, Andre Ware, Danny Wuerfel, Kliff Kingsbury, etc. There's hundreds of QB's who lit it up in college and didn't amount to anything in the league.

If your QB's best attribute is he can break a 60 yard run in college then you have a problem. Especially when you openly admit he can't do that in the pros. So what is he gonna do?

In technical terms Manziel is bigger than Wilson with similar escapability, so I don't think his size should be held against him. RG3 also doesn't seem to have problems getting hit like Vick does.

Size is kind of an old cliche. It was once thought that shorter QB's would have a difficult time seeing receivers over linemen. Remember, in the NFL the game is much faster so throwing windows close quicker. But with a mobile QB, they can move and see "through" the line.

Size does become a factor when you're talking about running though because now you're talking about hits.

Brees and Wilson are shorter QB's but their strength is passing. Vick's strength, like Manziel, is running and that's why he stays hurt all the time. So in that sense size does matter. Pause. :guilty:

Biggest concern with Johnny is passing. Can he pick a defense apart with his arm? I saw Wilson do that in college and was amazed. So much, in fact, I had to look kid up. When I saw his height I knew scouts would shy away but hey shouldn't have because his size wouldn't hinder him like a Vick because again, his strength is passing, not running.

Maybe Johnny will improve, but as of right now, it's his arm that will keep him from having success in the NFL. Not everybody is blessed with a golden arm. In fact, very few people are.

And I'm no talking about draft position because that doesn't mean anything. But I would be utterly shocked and obviously dead wrong if this kid has any type of long term success at the next level. We'll just have to wait and see.

You know, after hearing him talk at the BCS Game show Monday night, I think he has a good knowledge of what's goes on around him on the field. He probably will surprise and do pretty well in the league. You have to remember that the NFL is changing just like college football is changing. Offensive football doesn't have to be prototypical anymore. You can have shorter QBs who have elusiveness and still do well.

I just dont want him to go to the Browns. Id rather he go to a real team so he at least has a chance of succeeding.

Are you nikkas even watching his games? :what:

I don't like this privileged cac but even a blind man can see he can play. Him being a first round pick is a no brainer to me. I would actually draft him #1 OVERALL. I just don't see any great prospects this year. I just don't believe in Clowney or Bridgewater. Manzeil looks better than both right now.
