You guys are crazy the only reason height seems like it is such a big deal is because we are on male dominated website so everyone talks about male insecurities (popularity of penis size and height threads). Second the average male height is 5'9.5 only 14% of the US population is 6+. So reconsider what you call short. Based on my perception I think guys have a drastic drop off on how seriously people take them and girl opportunities below 5'7. Any height above that and I don't think your height is really working against you, well atleast not much. Also, differences in height become less apparent as people get taller. The difference between 5'2-5'5 is much larger than 6'2-6'5. (This is coming from the perspective of someone who is 5'11)
